Job Purpose

Provides support to and maintenance of the corporate quality management system by participating in internal audits, creating and updating policies and procedures, administrating the various quality software systems, supporting change/product lifecycle management, participating in continual improvement initiatives. Trains personnel on QMS related principles and in the use of various quality-related software systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate configuration management efforts across the company, working with all functional stakeholders, such as Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Documentation Services, etc.
  • Process and maintain configuration management engineering documentation and records (ECOs and TDNs) using SAP, BaaN, SharePoint, and Microsoft software.
  • Ensure changes to products and processes are properly approved, communicated, and managed in accordance with internal change management policies.
  • Support overall project management for timely and accurate ECO execution.
  • Maintain records for accuracy and conformance to process standards.
  • Audit the various manufacturing and support locations to applicable standards and requirements.
  • Support maintaining the Quality Management System by participating in internal audits, maintaining and reviewing the non-conformance and corrective action systems, managing and maintaining the customer RMA process and reporting onsite quality metrics for management review.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
  • Other duties within the global QMS team as assigned
  • Travel less than 10%
Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Associatesdegree or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • 2 or more years relevant experience
  • Experience working in quality management systems
  • Experience leading and participating in quality system audits
  • Lead auditor certification for ISO 9001 (AS9100, IATF 16949, ISO 13485 a plus)
  • Experience managing document control and other quality-related software systems
  • Technical writing skills
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint and Smartsheet
  • Experience with software such as ERP, BaaN, Windchill
