Kennesaw, GA (SAF) - Management How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for optimizing financial operations and enhancing customer experiences?

We're seeking an Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager to join our team and spearhead our Customer Experience (CX) department's efforts in credit management, collections, dispute resolution and creating an effortless customer experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Spearhead the execution of our annual accounts receivable goals, ensuring alignment with our company's strategic objectives and financial targets.

  • Responsible for managing a team up to 15-25 to effectively collect on a portfolio in excess of $25mm with over 15K customers

  • Provide hands-on leadership by guiding, coaching, developing and motivating our Accounts Receivable Supervisors and Customer Experience Representatives (CXRs) to achieve daily performance goals and adhere to established policies and procedures

  • Interpret and communicate credit policies and procedures to support our sales function and ensure compliance with audit requirements, while also seeking opportunities for process optimization.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Regional Company presidents, AVPs, and sales teams, to drive collaboration and support business growth.

  • Collaborate closely with other CX team functions, such as cylinder control, cash applications, and data integrity, to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

  • Design and implement innovative strategies to maximize cash collections and minimize the risk of loss, while prioritizing an effortless customer experience.

  • Lead the negotiation of collection matters with customers, leveraging third-party collection agencies and legal counsel as necessary to achieve resolution.

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, investigating methods to enhance organizational capabilities through structural, technological, or methodological changes.

  • Establish and enforce departmental and company policies through effective goal setting, performance evaluations, feedback mechanisms, and ongoing coaching initiatives.

  • Embrace new technologies and integrate them into our day-to-day operations, staying ahead of industry trends and positioning our team for future success.

Required Qualifications And Competencies

  • Ability to communicate effectively on a regular cadence to senior executives on strategies, goals, and status.

  • Strong business aptitude, and expert knowledge of Customer Service in a decentralized retail distribution environment to anticipate a wide range of future needs and opportunities and facilitate development of complex solutions.

  • Strong proficiency in both Google and Microsoft Office required - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Forms, Google Drive, Meets and Hangouts.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management; finance; marketing or related field preferred.

  • 5+ years in roles leading Credit and Collection Management, Back Office functions and/or Customer Service in Operations for similar organizations; preferably within consumer facing, distribution environments.

  • Knowledge of contract law, secured transactions, and bankruptcy issues, with exposure to external financing and financial markets.

  • 3+ years motivating, influencing and leading dynamic high performing teams.

  • Experience working in a decentralized organization with a large customer base.
