Job Overview

The Aviation Captain is responsible for serving as the Pilot in Command for company aircraft and ensuring passengers arrive safely and timely to destinations, while delivering excellent customer service. This role is also accountable for maintaining and recording accurate trip logs, assessing all safety aspects of flights, and complying with CCCI Flight Operations Manual. The Aviation Captain will communicate and engage with company executives and maintain a professional appearance consistent with company appearance policy. We currently fly a Falcon 900 and 2000 and Citation XLS+. Must live within 1.5 hours of CLT airport

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serves as the Pilot in Command of CCCI aircraft by performing pre-and post-flight aircraft inspections, selecting safe and efficient flight routes, determining risks that may occur, and ensuring the safety and comfort of the passengers, crew, and aircraft while delivering excellent customer service
  • Maintains currency for required company and FAA training and keeping accurate records for compliance purposes
  • Participates in the Safety Management System where policies and objectives, risk mitigation, evaluations, training, and adherence to the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations ("ISBAO") is maintained
  • Performs ancillary duties as assigned for the benefit of the aviation team

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Ability to evaluate and conduct all aspects of company flights
  • Must have excellent communication and organization skills

Minimum Qualifications

  • Knowledge acquired through 3 to up to 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in Business Aviation
  • Airline Transport Pilot certificate, First Class FAA Medical, 500 hours Jet
