Join our Team Location: Santa Clara, CA About this opportunity: Ericsson is a global company and one of the leading providers of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to service providers. This includes cellular network infrastructure and related services. Ericsson's Security Research department covers a wide range of topics of relevance for cellular infrastructure, from hardware and trusted computing to applications of AI/ML for security functions. The intention for this internship is to explore novel ideas with applicability for the security of cellular infrastructure; detailed topic to be defined, depending on the expertise of the selected intern. What you will do: * Work onsite with our team in Santa Clara * Develop novel concepts and tools for enhancing security (e.g., application of AI/ML to security functions/operations, data generation, or other development of security function) * Prepare a proof-of-concept demonstration of internship progress at the end of the internship for presentation to an Ericsson Research audience. The skills you bring: We are looking for a self-motivated student with strong communication and problem-solving skills currently enrolled in a graduate program in computer systems security, networking, or machine learning. Of particular interest is interest and background in topics like AI/ML (Generative AI or adversarial ML), API security, mobile network security.
