Job Summary
As a Levy Finance Director, you will be responsible for providing The Levy Difference in financial services to internal and external guests and suppliers. Results are achieved by implementing effective internal controls and efficient processes, through leadership and management skills, and by living our vision and values
Operations
- Manage and monitor all financial operations deliverables for the venue
- Manage and direct all budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of all financial indicators to include final delivery and messaging of key business drivers and key variances from initial forecast to final budget
- Collaborate with operators in the development and execution of a financial plan for the venue
- Develop, facilitate, and streamline, a concise blue print and format for all Partner financial report outs
- Acts as a liaison with team, including the Partner's operational team, Levy team and other areas as needed to ensure efficient operational and financial performance
- Complete all projects in a timely and professional manner with strict adherence to financial project plan deadlines
Controls
- Thoroughly and accurately uses applicable Levy financial systems (SAP Business Planning and Consolidation)
- Oversees completion of required department reports and information is compiled at month end closing
- Ensures team members adhere to Levy Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook
- Effectively implements and makes recommendations on efficiencies for all financial processes and systems
- Ensures all sales reports and financial statements are accurate prior to distribution
Team
- Staffs department to meet operational needs
- Uses all performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team
- Promotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale
- Conducts regular scheduled meetings to ensure lines of communication are open between management and department team members
- Interviews, hires, trains and develops team members according to Levy guidelines
- Mentors both financial and operational managers to develop their skills and leadership abilities across the venue
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required
- 7 + years experience in a financial leadership role
- Experience with predictive analysis and financial forecasting required
- Ability to interact and present complex financial data and analysis to the Partner leadership.
- Ability to innovate and create financial process efficiencies across the venue
