Position Overview:

The Material Coordinator will assist with the daily tasks and responsibilities of properly handling, receiving, transporting, storing, and transacting materials at and/or between both warehouses and the Receiving dock. Ensure transactional accuracy, maintain appropriate stock rotation, and keep an organized workspace.

Responsibilities:

Warehouse Responsibilities





    • Use and navigate systems and applications utilized by Material Control (SAP, Outlook, Microsoft, IBM Notes, etc.).
    • Accurately pull and transact daily supply orders utilizing appropriate stock rotation methods (FIFO/FEFO).
    • Transfer raw materials (physically and electronically) to and from the offsite warehouse.
    • Assure compliance to all standard operating procedures.
    • Manage both the offsite and main warehouses in an organized and orderly fashion, storing materials to preserve their integrity.
    • Ensure approved raw materials are removed from the quarantine area and put away in their designated warehouse location in a timely fashion.
    • Maintain the accuracy of the inventory through periodic physical counting of the materials.
    • Own routine housekeeping tasks and document completion using current good documentation practices.
    • Operation of powered forklift.
    • Driving of company insured vehicles.




Receiving Responsibilities:





    • Receive and verify product per PO into SAP.
    • Receive and re-stack product per SOP.
    • Ensure all product is labeled per procedure (in-receipt/quarantine)




Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Good team working skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail oriented and organized.
  • Ability to lift 65lbs several times a day.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of SAP or other material management software preferred.
  • Must meet Artivion's requirements to be insured for driving company insured vehicles.
  • Must be available to work Monday - Friday, 7:30AM - 4:30PM.
