Basic Outline on position:
- Liaison
- Key POC between finance, supply chain, inventory, Purchasing, CSR, shipping, receiving, and digital technology teams to ensure accurate data flow and process realignment and compliance with QA
- Monitor and troubleshoot system transaction in JDE to confirm that financial data is correctly recorded and processed
- Work with teams to resolve discrepancies in inventory movement, Work order movement and invoicing, cost allocations and tracking.
- Ensure financial processes align with operational workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Participate in TIER meetings to address cost-related concerns:
- Providing financial insights on labor costs, material variances, work order discrepancies
- Highlight cost drivers affecting budget performance and suggesting corrective actions
- Collaborating with operations teams, managers, supervisors to implement improvements that enhance cost efficiency
- Finance Oversight/ Cost
- Improve processes between cross functional teams
- Manage, resolve discrepancies in reports, JEs, transfers to ensure accuracy
- Spot Audit journal entries, work order closing, within MRO finance team to ensure accuracy
- Spot Audit cycle counts on floor
- Designate flow of costs into accounts
- Work with sister sites to ensure costs are updated and communicated
- Perform analysis and reconciliation to ensure transactions align with financial discrepancies
- Perform payroll/ PTO/ timekeeping/ reconciliation backup
- Finance reporting/ closeout
- Assist with journal entries for month end close out and reporting, as needed
- Support financial closeout processes by ensuring data accuracy in cost allocations and reporting metrics
- Work with sister sites, flexible hours to ensure communication transition into ERP systems
Qualifications:
- Experience in finance, payroll, cost analysis
- MRO operation experience preferred?
- Strong understanding of journal entries, financial auditing, SOX, work order reconciliation
- Proficient in JDE, Excel, and financial reporting tools
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skill
- Ability to troubleshoot financial discrepancies and work independently in a fast-paced environment
