Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience). Requires an additional 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree with 6+ years of job-related experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

As a Deputy DPME on the FCS Operational Support program, you'll partner with the program DPME to plan, authorize and monitor engineering work by managing a team of top talent. You'll work with a global platform partnership in ensuring the supportability of our SSBN fleet while keeping your team motivated and focused on project goals. What you bring to the table:
  • A Bachelor's of Science in Engineering, a related specialized area or field with engineering or mathemitcal basis, and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
  • Substantial leadership skills and proven team building and motivation skills
  • Proven problem-solving skills in complex environments
  • In depth knowledge of the broader FBM program and its vision
  • Ability to work across a matrix organization while building a strong and collaborative relationship with key partners

Workplace Options:
This position is Hybrid/Flex On-site (3+ days in office)....you will be a part of the Pittsfield, MA facility.

Target salary range: USD $123,734.00/Yr. - USD $133,884.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
