We are seeking a Brand Social Coordinator to join the IHOP marketing team. Someone who is inspired by culture, social trends and a creative thinker. As the Brand Social Coordinator at IHOP, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our community engagement across social media platforms and establishing our voice for IHOP on all platforms.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about social, storytelling, and thinks creatively, exploring new platforms and trends to drive relevance for our brand. This person will manage content, execute campaigns, monitor performance and engage with the community.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for cultivating a dynamic community, driving engagement, and creating meaningful connections with our current audience and driving in new consumers to interact with our brand.

  • Social Listening & Reaction: Monitor social media channels for trends, conversations, and brand mentions, providing insights to refine strategy and inspire real-time content creation
  • Community Building & Management: Foster a strong sense of communities among IHOP super fans, encouraging interaction, user-generated content, and brand advocacy
  • Brand Tone & Voice: Support Brand Social Community Manager in ensuring brand voice consistency and authenticity through community engagement
  • Campaign Management: Lead publishing and execute social media campaigns, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve campaign objectives. Support content creation efforts, including sourcing images and videos, writing captions, and contributing to content planning.
  • Crises management: Work closely with the Brand Social Community Manager to monitor social platforms to provide updates on any situations that may arise.
  • Reporting: Monitor social media performance and provide insights on what's working (what's not) to optimize content strategies across channels.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in social media, content creation or community management, leading large online communities
  • Experience managing cross-channel content calendars
  • Proficiency in social media analytics tools
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) and what makes engaging content
  • Ability to collaborate with the cross functional team
  • Ability to multitask
  • Good with ideation and making ideas come to life
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree required with a field of study in: Marketing, Business, Journalism, English, Communications preferred
  • Passionate about pancakes
  • Target base salary $30-$40/hr depending on experience
