Description Central Pet Distribution is Hiring a Warehouse Lead - Night Shift Monday through Friday Do you love pets and love working in a fast-paced environment? Our growing company is seeking an experienced warehouse lead for the night shift. The Pet Distribution team works together to supply our customers with the nation's top brands of pet supplies like Nylabone, Kaytee, and Aqueon. If you have experience leading others, are committed to safety and can create and support a culture of continuous improvement, this may be the job for you! Location: Central Pet Distribution Center in Dallas, Texas Shift Details: Night Shift starting at 4:00pm and working until daily tasks are complete. Ability to work overtime as needed. 5-day work week Monday through Friday. Compensation: Starting at $21.00 - $23.50/hr depending on experience MEASURES OF SUCCESS: Professionally support the supervision of respective associates. Supervise and support continuous improvement processes. Supervise and support workflow. Develop the ability, skills and knowledge to act as interim Warehouse Manager. IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES: Three to five years of distribution warehouse supervisory or lead experience with working knowledge of all warehouse activities. Experience using WMS (Warehouse Management System) Working knowledge of RF receiving, replenishment procedures. Ability to work in and lead a team environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. High school graduate, with Associates Degree preferred. Vocollect experience a big plus. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is conducted in a warehouse environment with temperature changes depending on the season.
