Job title: Project Manager
Job location: Houston - Texas
We have an exciting opportunity for an Industrial Projects Project Manager. As a member of the Industrial Projects Team, the primary role is to provide operational and administrative expertise to ensure that all aspects of the project are delivered in an accurate and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver overall logistics service to the client
  • Liaise with clients on an ad-hoc basis when resolving operational issues or addressing complaints
  • Compile and produce KPI reports to ensure efficiency and procedures are maintained
  • Liaise with client on a scheduled basis to review service provision and develop business opportunities
  • Contract negotiations
  • Successful implementation of new and additional business to meet internal and customer expectations when required
  • Work with global Industrial Projects colleagues to support business needs
  • Assist with sourcing pricing for rate and quote requests from the network
  • Within the limits of the role be accountable for overall project delivery to time and budget as well as expected results for HSE and client satisfaction.
  • Assures the project execution is in accordance with policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the Company.
  • Support and supervision of key shipments if required
  • Support team members during peak periods in different areas of operation when required
  • Ensure project compliance with Customs and other shipping regulations
  • Drive and manage search for improved services and rates from Service Providers
  • Assures safe project execution to the client's satisfaction, consistent with cost, schedule and contractual requirements.
  • Ensure project shipment processing is executed in line with quality & safety procedures
  • Ensure all financial and administrative activities comply with the Company's standards, at all times.
  • Work in accordance with all SOP's relating to the project.
  • Provide direction and support to team
  • Provide team with targets against agreed timelines
Skills / Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • BA/BS degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience required
  • Strong operational skills
  • Strong knowledge of logistics
  • Heavy lift domestic trucking experience
  • Strong teamwork skills
