Description Master Scheduler will be responsible for developing and maintaining the master schedule to ensure efficient and effective production planning. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to meet production goals and deadlines. Responsible for managing and optimizing the scheduling processes to ensure efficient workflow and resource allocation. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to meet production goals and deadlines. Monitor and adjust schedules to address any changes or disruptions in the production process Communicate critical materials issues to Supply Chain Director and other appropriate functional leaders. Communicate and address resource constraints. Participate in projects that influence the direction of manufacturing. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling processes and overall efficiency Collaborates with planning, manufacturing and shipping teams to ensure material requirements are scheduled and fulfilled. Participate in problem solving activities to drive improvements to on time delivery score Track Customer Order progress, communicate to manufacturing and scheduling as necessary to accommodate changes or delays. Manage Pilot builds and participates in Launch Phase Gate Process as it pertains to Scheduling Requirement Bachelors or equivalent degree in Supply Chain Management. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 3-5 years practical experience in Materials Management/Scheduling. Automotive experience required including but not limited to Ford Automotive. Ability to navigate problems and solutions within the cross functional team. Proficient computer skills-Windows Office Suite. Strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently, as well as work successfully across all levels of the organization. APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) CPIM certification preferred. Automotive or JIT broadcast environment experience. Applied Lean Manufacturing techniques including value stream mapping, leveling demand, Kanban calculations, techniques, and visibility tools. MRP/EDI/ASN skills required. Able to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to accurately communicate with co-workers and management, as well as external customers. Mostly office environment, occasional light manufacturing environment Fast-paced, team-oriented environment Low noise level in a temperature-controlled setting Some level of domestic and/or international travel may be required Mostly normal business hours with occasional need to flex hours |
