About the Role

Impact you will make

We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Technical Project Manager to join our Revenue Insights and Optimization team, specifically supporting the Insurance Discover product line. The ideal candidate will manage optimization projects aimed at delivering cutting-edge solutions, such as integration with other product lines, incorporating AI and other analytic enhancements, and coordinating prioritization in tandem with scrum masters. This role requires a strong project management background with a focus on ensuring project deliverables are met efficiently.

What you will do




  • Oversee the progress of projects, ensuring all tasks and action items are completed on time; schedule and facilitate meetings, follow up on action items, and proactively address dependencies to keep projects on track
  • Proactively set and manage expectations with internal and external stakeholders regarding project scope, deliverables, timelines, status reporting, and issues & risks
  • Lead Go-To-Market activities across all departments involved
  • Drives project deliverables and decisions to completion
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to manage dependencies and align project goals
  • Work on strategic projects across the organization that are key to our success regardless of department
  • Communicate with the Executive Leadership team on progress of assigned strategic projects
  • Maintain documentation and versioning for all project materials
  • Actively participate in the development, implementation, and execution of internal processes and procedures,
  • Work alongside Scrum Masters and Product Owners who are responsible for writing and tracking JIRA stories
  • Focus on traditional project management responsibilities rather than Scrum Master duties
  • Take initiative in outlining project dependencies and sequencing tasks appropriately to ensure smooth delivery; do not wait for each action but proactively manage and execute tasks
  • Remain knowledgeable of changes in information technology, healthcare, and revenue cycle management



What you will bring



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, technology, MIS, or related field
  • 5+ years in Project or Program Management experience
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability in managing projects. Ability to recap actions, take initiative, and schedule necessary activities with minimal guidance
  • Experience within a large complex corporate organization or major consulting organization


  • Basic understanding of technology to effectively communicate and manage project requirements
  • Advanced project management skills; strong mediation and negotiation skills
  • Excellent leadership, analysis, facilitation, and client relationship skills
  • Strong organization, analytical, and critical thinking skills, as well as being meticulous
  • Ability to prioritize workload and work effectively with minimal supervision; demonstrated ability to work concurrently on multiple projects in a matrix setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, including ability to effectively present information to top management, key executives, and/or boards of directors; and other client facing roles
  • Highly skilled in the use of personal computers and related software applications, including but not limited to intermediate knowledge of the following Microsoft products: Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook
  • Travel: up to 20%



What we would like to see



  • Understanding of Revenue Cycle processes, requirements, and best practices, including Enrollment, Scheduling, Pre-Registration, Registration, Admitting, Financial Counseling, Charge Master, Coding, Charge Capture, Billing, Collections, Bad Debt, Payment Processing, Denial Management, Revenue Recognition and Accounts Receivable Finance Operations
  • Experience in managing projects within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
  • Familiarity with data science models and predictive analytics
  • Understanding of SQL and data management
  • End-to-end product development/management experience


  • Project Management Certification
