Electrical Engineer Jacksonville, FL Pay From: $120,000 MUST: Experienced Electrical Engineer Active PE License in Civil Engineering highly preferred 5 years min exp.in civil engineering design required 1 yr required supporting Capital Improvement Projects for a Federal Agency. Proficiency in AutoCAD, civil design/analysis software, Autodesk tools, and Microsoft Office products required Strong working knowledge of applicable codes, regulations, and standards including DoD and Navy guide specs required Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deliver presentations and reports. Familiarity with topographical survey equipment preferred. Knowledge of budgeting, planning, and project management processes with the ability to lead and coordinate project teams. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited program required DUTIES: Provide on-site Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, FL. Supporting the Engineering and Design Division (D4) of the Design and Construction Business Line (DCBL), directly contributing to the success of critical Navy and Marine Corps construction and facilities projects. Deliver expert civil engineering support for the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of Navy, Marine Corps, and other supported facilities. Lead and contribute to a variety of civil engineering projects such as roads, airfields, drainage, water supply, sewer systems, shore protection, dredging, and site development. Support both new builds and upgrades to existing infrastructure across diverse environments and facility types. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure cohesive, compliant, and efficient design solutions.
