Engineering and Design Architect (DOD Facilities) Jacksonville, FL Pay From: $125,000 per year MUST: Architect 5 years min. of architectural design experience, including new construction and renovation projects focused on code compliance. 3 years min. in a supervisory role leading engineers and/or architect. Strong understanding of architectural principles, sustainable design practices, and applicable codes and standards (e.g., IBC, Life Safety Code). Familiarity with DoD and Navy design standards, NAVFAC guidelines, and related specifications Expertise or a strong interest in interior design-space planning, finishes, furnishings, and human-centered design preferred Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited program (preferred). DUTIES: Provide on-site Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, FL Supports the Engineering and Design Division (D4) of the Design and Construction Business Line (DCBL), directly contributing to high-impact Navy and Marine Corps projects Deliver high-quality architectural design and consulting services for a variety of Navy, Marine Corps, and supported command facility projects Support military construction (MILCON), demolition, renovations, space utilization, and facilities development initiatives Collaborate across disciplines to ensure fully integrated design solutions Review and provide feedback on third-party designs, ensuring they align with program goals, sustainable practices, and code compliance Evaluate plans, drawings, and cost estimates with an eye for detail and quality Engage in stakeholder meetings and work closely with Navy teams to support facilities such as medical centers, hangars, training facilities, admin buildings, and more Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
