Location: Remote, USA (Eastern Time zone strongly preferred)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $104,000-$130,000 (Range applies to US candidates only) + Benefits/Variable Comp/Equity - Range may vary based on experience.

We are looking for a Product Designer to join our growing User Experience team - this is your chance to get in early and make a big impact. Primary Duties and Responsibilities



  • Develop and maintain user-centered wireframes, user flows, interaction design, visual design mock-ups, prototypes.
  • Partner with researchers to learn more about our users' needs and test & iterate on your design concepts.
  • Participate in the planning process for new features and projects.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product to solve business and customer needs, and to co-create solutions to address those needs.
  • Bring all levels of project stakeholders along in your design process, gaining buy-in on designs as you go (no grand unveiling).
  • Strong communication skills, ability to communicate and persuade through presentation of designs.
  • Contribute to our new design system.



Required Education and Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience in addition to the below experience listed.
  • 2+ years of experience in product design.
  • Must share a strong UX portfolio showcasing your thinking and process, as well as final deliverables.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure, etc.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and logically.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.



Preferred Education and Experience



  • Experience designing finance-related enterprise software or data-heavy applications, particularly CPM/EPM.
  • Familiarity with design-thinking methodologies and usability testing practices.
  • Expertise in Figma.



    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



    • Ability to think creatively and propose multiple solutions to a problem.
    • Strong logical thinking and an empathetic understanding of finance users who work with large data sets.
    • Excellent presentation skills, including the ability to communicate design concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and bring stakeholders along in the design process.
    • Adaptability in working with evolving design systems and enterprise software constraints.



    Travel



    • Travel requirement: Occasional travel may be required.
