About the Job

The Department of Neurology at the University of Minnesota and UMPhysicians is recruiting a full-time multiple sclerosis fellow for MHealth Fairview (University of Minnesota Physicians/Fairview Health Services Partnership). Highly qualified candidate who are committed to excellence in patient care, possess strong clinical skills and have an interest in clinical investigation and education are encouraged to apply.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

* As part of a multi-disciplinary team, this position will provide outpatient multiple sclerosis clinical care on the University campus and community clinics.
* Opportunities to supervise and train medical students and residents.
* Opportunity to collaborate with innovative neuroscience physicians and researchers on clinical trial research and other academic activities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
* Graduate of an accredited Neurology residency training program and Board Certified or Board Prepared with the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association
* Matched into the University of Minnesota Multiple Sclerosis Fellowship through the San Francisco Match
* Experience with, and a clinical interest in, neuroimmunologic disorders, demyelinating disorders, neuroimaging, and clinical trials/research related to neuroimmune pathologies
* Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure
* Ability to obtain and / or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
* Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges
* Excellent teaching and interpersonal skills

The Multiple Sclerosis Division in the Department of Neurology is committed to the tripartite academic mission of clinical care, teaching and research.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $70,000-$72,000; depending on education/qualifications/experience

Time Appointment: 100% Appointment

Position Type: Faculty and P&A Staff
