Room Service Associate PRN Days

Job Description:

PRN, Days - 12-hour shifts, 6:15a-6:45p; Minimum of 1 weekly shift and one full weekend a month. Scheduled when needed. (Looking for open availability, as hours fluctuate.)

*Must be able to commit to two consecutive weeks of training( 3 full shifts per week = 6 shifts total)*

Open interviews will be held every Tuesday through Friday from 2PM-4PM

Food & Nutrition Services offers nourishing meals to patients, visitors, and Baptist Health Louisville employees.

The department has about 120 employees and operates 24-hours a day/seven days a week. It provides great employment opportunities for growth and development within the department and hospital.

Responsibilities

Responsible for patient food service on assigned units, e.g., menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery and pick up, special requests and needs, in-between meal food delivery.

Delivering and picking up patient meal trays, taking meal orders, and assisting with various kitchen tasks.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

• Must be able to read and write.

• Must have ability to follow written and oral instructions.

• Neat appearance / excellent hygiene.

• Excellent customer relation skills.

• Excellent communication skills required.

• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to walk and stand for long periods, and be capable of pushing and lifting 30-50 lbs.
