We are seeking an exceptional Senior Cloud Consultant - DevOps to drive transformative digital solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will be a strategic technical leader with deep expertise in cloud architectures, capable of designing and implementing cutting-edge cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure platforms. This pivotal role requires a blend of advanced technical skills, architectural vision, and the ability to translate complex cloud strategies into tangible business value for our clients. The successful candidate will serve as a critical bridge between innovative cloud technologies and strategic business objectives, leveraging extensive experience in cloud migration, infrastructure optimization, and DevOps methodologies to deliver robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions that propel organizations forward in their digital transformation journey. Department Blue Mantis Employment Type Full Time Location Remote Workplace type Fully remote Compensation $150,000 - $160,000 / year Reporting To Key Responsibilities Design and implement highly scalable, available, and resilient AWS and Azure-based solutions based on client needs, best practices, and business requirements. Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into effective cloud strategies, ensuring alignment with overall objectives. Continuously monitor and optimize cloud environments for performance, security, scalability, and cost efficiency. Lead complex cloud migration projects from on-premise infrastructure to AWS and Azure, ensuring minimal disruption and maximizing efficiency. Stay current with Cloud offerings, new tools, capabilities, and industry trends, advising clients on emerging technologies and opportunities to drive business value. Provide clear documentation, architectural diagrams, and status reports to both technical teams and stakeholders. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Minimum of 7 years of experience working with cloud technologies, including at least 5 years specifically with AWS or Azure services Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud architectures, including solutions for high availability, disaster recovery, and scaling. Strong leadership and mentoring abilities with experience leading cross-functional teams. Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex cloud-related issues.
