The Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Sales Trainee Coordinator to work at our North Dock locations with St. Clair Aggregates.
The Sales Trainee Coordinator is responsible for supporting dock operations, including coordinating loading, screening, and product off-loading projects. This role also assists in training new operators and maintenance personnel while actively learning and supporting sales and distribution initiatives. This position plays a key role in efficient product delivery and fostering strong customer relationships. It requires close collaboration with internal teams, customers, and logistics providers to maximize sales opportunities and uphold a high standard of service. Benefits

Responsibilities The Sales Trainee Coordinator will:
- Monitor and coordinate dock material movement, including screening and off-loading activities
- Provide support to operators and maintenance personnel as needed
- Assist in training new operators and maintenance personnel
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, brokers, and transportation providers to drive sales and growth.
- Prepare pricing and quotes for aggregate products using industry-specific software (i.e. Bid Express).
- Manage the processing and scheduling of material shipments via truck, rail, and vessel to ensure timely and efficient delivery
- Maintain open communication with sales and logistics teams to align inventory availability with customer demand
- Accurately input and track sales transactions, maintain up-to-date records
- Ensure all operations comply with MDOT standards and other relevant regulatory requirements
- Support dock and vessel logistics by coordinating loading and unloading activities
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, needs and assist in identifying new sales opportunities
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned by manager
Skills The ideal candidate will have:
- High School Diploma required or pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Sales
- 1-2 years in sales, distribution, or logistics within the aggregate, construction, or transportation industries
- Experience with order management systems (JWS) is a plus
- Ability to think strategically and collaborate on problem solving
- Excellent people skills to successfully work with internal support, external customers, and operational personnel
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal format, individually and/or in a group setting
- Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
