Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
PRC manages the planning and oversight of a 3.1 million dollar professional and educational theatre operation. This unit has a staff of about 175 which includes approximately 47 employees, 20 independent contractors, 30 workstudy students and up to 100 volunteers. Approximately 37 of these employees are seasonal employees, requiring new contracts and university personnel paperwork for each season. This unit is responsible for creating significant professional artistic programming, student and community engagement activities and attendant fundraising endeavors. The unit functions as a program of the Department of Dramatic Art. Employees of the unit are essentially employees of the department.
Position Summary
Position will provide business operational support to PRC. Duties include financial analysis for compliance and accuracy, assist with budget development and provide other fiscal support.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Ability to plan and monitor the use of expenditures to meet organizational objectives and compliance. Ability to prepare budget documents and reports. Professional knowledge and skill in business operations or accounting and financial forecasting. Ability to allocate resources, plan procurement, and oversee budgets and contracts to ensure fiscal stability of the organization
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Prior experience with UNC financial systems with a focus on working in units that are revenue dependent.
