The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Nursing has been the leader in nursing education in North Carolina throughout its history. Established in 1950, it was the first school of nursing in North Carolina to offer a four-year baccalaureate nursing degree program followed by the first master's degree program, the first continuing education program for nurses, first doctoral program, and first accelerated BSN option to students with college degrees. Position Summary
The Research Assistant will work with Dr. Michelle Graf and her investigative team to support ongoing research activities, with a primary focus on the collection and processing of growth data from pediatric medical records of study participants. Primary areas of responsibility are:

* Facilitating and conducting data collection from pediatric medical records in primary care practices
* Data entry, management, and conducting preliminary analysis, as directed by Dr. Graf or designated senior personnel.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Experience within a research environment; experience working with data collection and coding.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Experience with electronic medical records.
