Paramedic - Full Time - Cardiac Cath Lab

Position: Cardiovascular Paramedic (EMT-P)

Department: Cardiac Cath Lab

Shift: Full-Time, 40hr/wk, 10 Hour Shifts

Overview:

The Cardiovascular Paramedic will work within the Cardiac Cath Lab department to support and provide excellent care to all Cath Lab patients. The Cardiovascular Paramedic will work in Prep/Recovery as well as in the procedural rooms as an integrated part of the Cardiac Cath Lab team.

Qualifications:

• Education: Successful completion of Paramedic training program. Advanced ECG interpretation skills required.

• Experience: Preferred Two (2) years' experience in a Cardiac Stress Lab (but not required) or two (2) years of hospital and/or pre-hospital experience. Advanced ECG interpretation skills required.

• Licensure: Current valid license in the state of practice issued by the State Department of Health as a Paramedic (EMT-P)

• Certification: Current certification in Basic Life Support. ACLS
