What your day-to-day will look like:
Perform regular PM on power supplies, electrical cables, and other test equipment to ensure functionality and safety. Perform maintenance, monitoring repairs to the Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems for the facility to keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards as assigned
Check and replace filters in power supplies and ensure electrical connections are secure and up to standards. Inspect and maintain thermal chambers, including verifying refrigerant levels, identifying leaks, and refilling as necessary.
Diagnose and perform repairs on refrigeration systems and other HVAC components within thermal chambers.
Maintenance of the equipment will include cleaning, inspecting, calibrating and changing parts to maintain the HVAC systems and associated equipment at optimum performance levels
Conduct diagnostics to identify potential failures or inefficiencies in systems and components.
Repair or replace faulty electrical wiring, components, or HVAC systems as needed. Review monthly client service request summaries to pinpoint and correct recurrent operational problems
Adhere to industry safety standards and guidelines during all maintenance and repair activities.
Maintain documentation of maintenance activities and inspections, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Evaluate vendors and suppliers on a regular basis with regard to quality and competitive pricing
Verify the accuracy of deliveries for count, pricing, and description
Comply with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials; maintain a clean and safe workplace
Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:
Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel
Ability to analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions and take corrective action as required
Required Skills and Experience:
High School diploma or GED equivalent, with minimum two years of trades schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration and HVAC.
Certification as a Universal Technician for CFC's (or within 90 days of employment)
Must be available for Call-in work and perform other duties as required.

Physical work requirements and work conditions:
Comfortable working in varied environments, including confined spaces and temperature-controlled areas.
Lifting up to 25 lbs, any work requiring addition lifting of more than 25 lbs is completed with another person
Frequently climbing, bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and working/extending overhead.
Climbing a ladder with a 300 lb. weight limit while carrying a tool bag weighing approximately 20 lbs.
Climbing a ladder up to 30 feet.
