Responsibilities:
- Lead high-quality fitness classes across various formats, including cardio, strength training, HIIT, yoga, and dance.
- Develop and deliver workout routines that are safe, effective, and enjoyable for participants of all fitness levels.
- Provide clear instructions and demonstrate proper form to ensure participant safety.
- Motivate and inspire participants to achieve their fitness goals with guidance and encouragement.
- Maintain a clean and organized fitness environment before, during, and after classes.
- Stay current with fitness trends to continually elevate class offerings.
- Ensure the safety of participants by closely monitoring their movements and providing modifications when necessary.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere where all participants feel supported and encouraged.
What are We Looking For?
- Certified Group Fitness Instructor or relevant fitness certification (e.g., ACE, NASM, AFAA).
- Proven experience leading group fitness classes in a variety of formats.
- Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, anatomy, and proper exercise techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to different fitness levels and modify exercises as needed.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering exceptional fitness experiences.
- Passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their wellness goals.
Class Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:15am
- Requires either a general Cycling Certification, General Group Fitness Certification or a Les Mills RPM Certification.
- Class Description: Combines hit music where you will lead members on a choreographed journey of hill climbs, sprints and flat riding. It's simple, there are no fancy moves to master, you simply jump on a bike and pedal. Although you will give cues to increase or decrease resistance and speed, participants get to control their intensity, so this class is suited for everyone from novice to advanced cyclists.
