This position will report to the HR Generalist and service onboarding needs across the company. It's a fast-paced role that requires organization, focus, and the ability to support our internal customers - our TEAM! Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Coordinate New Hire Procedures: Plan and conduct orientation sessions to introduce new employees to the company's culture, mission, and values, including an overview of benefits, policies, and procedures.
- HRIS Management: HR systems such as UKG & Arcoro, necessary for automation in onboarding and employee servicing.
Prepare Onboarding Materials: Create and maintain onboarding materials such as welcome packets, employee handbooks, training schedules, and organizational charts.
Facilitate Paperwork Completion: Assist new hires with completing employment forms, including tax documents, direct deposit forms, and other required paperwork.
IT and Equipment Setup: Coordinate with IT and facilities departments to ensure new employees have access to the necessary tools, software, and workspace. This includes setting up email accounts, login credentials, and any required hardware.
Conduct Check-ins: Perform regular check-ins with new hires during their first 30, 60, and 90 days to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure a positive onboarding experience.
Track and Report Onboarding Metrics: Monitor key onboarding metrics, such as time to productivity, employee retention rates, and new hire satisfaction scores. Use this data to improve the onboarding process continuously.
Facilitate Culture Integration: Help new employees feel integrated into the company's culture by organizing team-building activities, social events, and introducing them to internal communication tools and platforms.
Act as a Point of Contact: Serve as a primary contact for new hires during their transition into the company, addressing any questions or concerns they may have regarding company policies, benefits, or other matters.
Update Onboarding Programs: Continuously evaluate and update the onboarding program to ensure it aligns with company goals and the evolving needs of new hires.
Maintain Compliance: Ensure that all onboarding processes are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements, including proper documentation and adherence to industry standards.
