JLL is seeking a Utility Operator to join our team on our PM Shift! The incumbent will be required monitor and perform minor repairs as needed for our utility equipment and systems for continuous operations for our client, utilizing automation controls, alarm systems and local controls.

Primary Duties:
Ensure that all systems including boilers, clean steam generators, water for injection stills, reverse osmosis units, air compressors, chillers, cooling towers, wastewater flows, heat exchanges, pumps, valves, and VAV boxes and associated equipment function correctly.
Ability to perform visual and operational inspection of associated equipment and interprets specifications, blueprints and job standards to perform assigned duties.
Respond to a wide range of mechanical and electrical problems and troubleshoot to repair.
Document problems encountered and communicate these through electronic work order systems (CMMS), electronic mail and voice systems.
Perform preventative maintenance and inspection on all utility systems and associated equipment.
Operates systems in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with government regulatory compliance and standard operating procedures.
Conduct visual building rounds, inspections and equipment logs to ensure that building equipment and systems, perform minor repairs as required to ensure are functioning as designed and at 100% up-time.
Provide general labor services throughout all areas maintained by the Utility Maintenance department including cleaning and organization of designated work areas.
Successfully complete training and demonstrate an ability to perform equipment monitoring, minor repairs and operational checks on utility equipment.
Complete site GMP & non GMP requirements in relation to training and site practices.
Maintain GMP training qualifications to ensure site compliancy standards.
Interact will with others in a team environment including Maintenance, Engineering team members as well as other internal / external customers.
Be able to work independently and follow escalation policy if needed.
Strong organizational skills and time management skills.

Job Requirements
Must be able to read and understand mechanical blue prints and electrical schematics.
Have basic knowledge and use of hand tools.
Have experience with building/system control systems.
Have experience with boilers and their associated steam delivery systems along with the automation controls that drive them.
Have knowledge of air compressors, air dyers, reverse osmosis units, water distilling units, clean steam
Generators, chillers, cooling towers and the ability to perform basic maintenance from written procedures in a GMP environment.

Knowledge and Skills
Have knowledge of the basic PC skills along with common applications associated with interoffice communication.
Have working knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, HMI interfaces and other automated devices.
Experience in oral and written communications in a concise and timely manner.

Work Environment
Work with hazardous materials and chemicals.
Wear air purifying respirator and wear necessary hearing protection.
Work alternative shifts that could include graveyard shifts, weekends, holidays.
Work overtime when necessary and work varying shifts, including on-call program.
Lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, work at heights to perform job functions as needed.
Crawl, kneel and stoop and work in small spaces.

Education / Experience Preferred
High School Graduate
3+ years general maintenance experience
Previous GMP environment experience a plus
Have working knowledge of CMMS systems
Refrigeration / HVAC certificate
Boiler operator certificate
Wastewater certificate
