Overview
The State Of Vermont Agency Of Digital Services is looking for a Network Administrator to work out of our offices in Burlington. As a Network Administrator, you will analyze network activity and network problems to discover and prevent systematic errors as well as assist with technology planning through ongoing research. You will also work with and coordinate with vendors to ensure system deliverables and activities are in conformance with contracts. May enforce and must comply with change management procedures. Work is performed in a computer network environment involving considerable interaction with customers, departmental and other IT staff. Some overtime work will be necessary during after hour maintenance or emergencies. Some travel to customer locations may be involved, for which private means of transportation may be required. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science AND two (2) or more years of experience in computer or network support, programming or analysis, or database administration. OR Associate's degree in computer science or college-level coursework that includes 15 computer science credits AND four (4) or more years of experience in computer or network support, programming or analysis, or database administration. OR Six (6) or more years of experience in computer or network support, programming or analysis, or database administration. Total Compensation
