You should have relevant industry knowledge, technical depth in the planning, data review and execution of data centers, and have executive presence to lead complex and time sensitive initiatives. In this role, the successful candidate will partner closely with key engineering leaders to drive programs focused on transforming how we deliver data centers to our customers. These programs will be on the leading edge of innovation and will include driving pilots and other first of kind programs that shape ongoing strategy in delivering data centers efficiently and on schedule. You will balance effective analytical and technical skills with the ability to influence decision makers within the CO+I leadership and execution teams spread across the rest of Azure. You will also partner closely with related teams including our design engineering, construction, networking and data center project management teams. ResponsibilitiesManage Cross-Functional Initiatives:Manage cross functional initiatives, focusing on cross-organizational efficiencies and decision making that enable scale through streamlined rhythm of business, tools and processes.Leverage technical acumen in mechanical/electrical systems, structures, and networking infrastructure to facilitate engineering problem solving.Drive business results through a regimented focus on key performance indicators and business goals, promoting clarity and motivation to the project team to execute on time, under budget, while delivering high quality results with zero rework.Deliver on ambiguous projects with multiple stakeholders, unclear requirements, and incomplete data.Differentiate Microsoft data center delivery to create a competitive advantage by applying 'Best in Class' project and program management expertise.Reporting & Analytics:Design and drive implementation of reporting by interfacing with business, engineering, finance, operations, and systems teams to provide actionable insights.Compile appropriate content for cadenced rhythm of business reporting to leadership, including monthly newsletter, KPI reporting, PowerPoint presentations, and other ad-hoc reporting as needed.Improvement, Efficiency & Innovation: Use experience and expertise to improve and/or deploy templates, automation, and processes.Rhythm of Business: Create and implement pages for the team SharePoint communications site, including maintenance and upkeep of team onboarding content that requires cross-functional collaboration to ensure content validity.Comfortable working at the Executive level within a highly matrixed organization.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications and Tools - Excel, Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Teams, Power BI, and Power Automate.Experience in creating and maintaining SharePoint communication sites and team pages.Embody our culture and values.Capabilities important to success include:Operational Planning & Project Management: Show structured thinking, planning, and the ability to execute by working through others, influencing without authority, and dealing with ambiguity.Exceptional written and Interpersonal skills: Communicate effectively and concisely with stakeholders, senior managers, and leaders about our programs and objectivesCustomer/Stakeholder Focus: Gather stakeholder impressions of services and programs, integrating this feedback into decision making.
