Marrakech is looking for staff to work with our wonderful participants with developmental disabilities, physical, behavioral or other needs in a group home setting. We seek nurturing people who will provide care with respect and dignity as well as promote independence and community integration.

SUMMARY

The Assistant Vice President of Residential Services is responsible for developing person-centered plans for DDS-funded program participants in CLA, ICF Group Homes, and Continuous Residential Programs. They will assist the Vice President in creating, implementing, and overseeing programs and daily activities that enhance skills, community integration, and health. They will ensures care plans are tailored to each individual's needs, promoting independence and quality of life.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

ENSURE SUCCESSFUL PROGRAMMING AND SERVICE PROVISION



  • Assist the Vice President in providing training to Senior Directors, Coordinators, and Managers in program development, planning skills, and outcome measures through group sessions and individual meetings.
  • Ensure ongoing, appropriate assessments of individuals' needs, strengths, and preferences.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and reviewing Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) in collaboration with individuals served, families, and interdisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Supervise Direct Support Staff in implementing program plans and active treatment, demonstrating incidental teaching.
  • Conduct regular internal audits, including evaluating program outcomes, and offer input on the daily program schedule to ensure activities align with individuals' learning and life enrichment needs.
  • Stay current on trends related to individuals with disabilities, incorporating new trends into the program.
  • Provide educational resources and opportunities for staff to maintain evidence-based practices and ensure compliance with regulations (CARF, DPH, DDS, BOE).
  • Oversee procedures to track attendance, supports, and participants' progress in achieving person-centered goals.
  • Collaborate with the Behavior Support Department/Consultants to develop proactive behavioral programs.


GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Assist the Vice President of Program Operations as needed and attend IRMS meetings to review incident reports for trends.
  • Provide on-call support for programs, participate in the Human Rights Committee, and maintain Medication Certification.
  • Complete DDS Investigator training and participate in investigations as needed.
  • Operate motor vehicles in compliance with State Law while performing work duties.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Supervise the Coordinator of Habilitative Services and consultants, providing direct supervision to Senior Directors and support to Coordinators and Managers.
  • Make recommendations for hiring, training, evaluation, and personnel actions for all staff within the program.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE



  • Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) or eligibility for that status. Master's degree in related field and at least two years related experience, or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years of program management and supervisory experience. Supervisory experience is required.


SALARY



  • $62,245/yr, increases to $67,245/yr after 6 month introductory period.
