Description
Acara Solutions is seeking a highly qualified candidate to work onsite with our customer in Cerritos, CA as a Quality Control Technician.
Here is what you will do:
This position is primarily responsible for ensuring the electronic equipment to meet manufacturer specifications and performance standards, and that proper procedures are taken before it is returned back to the customer.
Responsibilities:
  • Inspect the product and ensure that there are no cosmetic damages
  • Ensure customer's requests match with the repairs that have been performed
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic devices, equipment, and systems to identify issues, malfunctions, and defects.
  • Utilize testing equipment, schematics, and technical documentation to diagnose and isolate problems within electronic components.
  • Conduct thorough testing and quality control checks after repairs to ensure the proper functioning and reliability of repaired devices.
  • Calibrate and adjust electronic equipment to meet manufacturer specifications and performance standards.
  • Take photos of the products for liability reasons or proof of shipment
  • Test fly the unit and record the video to ensure the units are operating correctly
  • Log in the flight testing and quality assurance information to the CRM system
  • Generate reports that certify the equipment meets manufacturer specifications and performance standards
Here is what you will get:
Pay Rate: $18 - $24.25/hr; depending on experience

Hours: 40 hours/week; Monday through Friday from 7:00 am - 4:15 pm. Evening and weekend work maybe required as duties demand.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of one year experience with electro-mechanic quality assessment.
  • Minimum of one year experience with remote-control products is required
  • Minimum of one year experience with Microsoft Excel required.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Technical degree (A.A)
  • Previous drone experience preferred
  • FAA Part 107 Certification preferred
  • Knowledge of electronic terminology is preferred (ex. volts)
  • Camera knowledge preferred
  • Computer proficiency
  • Excellent communication skills

  • The job constantly requires talking and hearing.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include near acuity, color vision, field of vision and ability to adjust focus. The employee is expected to sit in front of a computer and be able to identify the information on the computer, or to assess the products. In the process, the ability to identify colors and the ability to adjust focus is required.
  • The position has sedentary lifting requirements. The job requires lifting up to 0 - 10 pounds occasionally.
  • The job operates in a warehouse environment. Employee are occasionally exposed to fumes from the flammability of the battery.
