TheCredit Analyst Internshipis a great opportunity to gain hands-on accounting experience while working side by side with professionals from all levels in our Waltham, MA office. In this role, you will be partnered with our credit team assisting with credit and collections. We offer a flexible work environment, allowing you to work from home up to two days a week for all staff. We offer a flexible work environment. This means working up to 2 days a week remotely and the rest of the time in the office.

"Gauges" of Responsibility

  • Secure, confirm receipt, and log financial statements. Update various credit logs and reports, such as EFT returns, and new applications.
  • Obtain security agreements, personal/corporate guarantees as needed for new customers and account updates.
  • Obtain industry trend reports such as DnBi, Warren group, TransUnion, and Sec of State findings according to policies and regulations for new and existing accounts for credit review.
  • Create, maintain, and control credit files, making sure that all files are organized and updated.
  • Assist in overall special credit projects, as assigned, to ensure company's risks are minimized Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook email.
  • Ability to prioritize work, follow through on requests, take initiative and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact in a team environment and foster client relationships.
  • Prior administrative and customer service experience.
  • Self-Starter that takes the initiative to ask questions.
  • Ability to apply knowledge learned in the classroom to work.

Education Requirement

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree.
