Summary

Plans, develops, coordinates and oversees all aspects of pharmacy services as required by Florida law for a Class II Institutional Pharmacy permit. Achieves the day-to-day provision of Pharmacy services through effective management of staff pharmacists, pharmacy interns, pharmacy technicians and other support personnel. Represents the pharmacy department to the nursing units and various hospital departments and assures the pharmacy services are provided in an accurate, appropriate and timely manner. Ascertains that staff pharmacists, pharmacy interns, and pharmacy technicians demonstrate a level of competence with current demand and level of pharmacy services provided.

Requirements Educational Requirements

Degree/Diploma Obtained	Program of Study	Required/ Preferred	and/or
Bachelor's	Pharmacy	Required	or
Doctorate	Pharmacy	Preferred

Additional RequirementsPharmacy plus Masters Degree or equivalent clinical experience to be evaluated on an individual basis. Experience Requirements

State of Florida Licensure Requirements
