Description

ECD, a Pavion company is seeking a talented and motivated Low Voltage Technician to join our security business unit working in the greater metro Phoenix area.

Primary Responsibilities:




  • Assist with the installation and setup of low voltage systems.


  • Able to work on large commercial installations involving wiring and programming equipment.


  • Follow wiring diagrams and technical instructions to complete installations and repairs


  • Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and industry regulations


  • Communicate effectively with Project Manager, Project Supervisors, and Project Coordinators


  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge


  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.



Basic Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in low voltage systems is a plus
  • 2+ years working with low voltage systems
  • Experience with Access Control products, Security Systems, Cameras, and Alarms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds, tools, and work in various physical environments.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Previous experience working with security systems such as Genetec or Lenel
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and instructions
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations



RATE: $25.00-32.00+/hr. based on experience and certifications
