Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Sr AV Technician to join our integration business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Communicate scope of work, project timeline, project design, and budget for small to medium projects to management and client.
  • Accountable for the successful completion of project to include: Timely results, Quality of work and Customer satisfaction (project closeout)
  • Assemble and install small to medium low voltage systems with minimal guidance
  • Troubleshoot complex systems, identify problems, make effort to find solution on own, request assistance if necessary
  • Coordinate with Project Manager or Lead Technician to direct team of technicians to meet project requirements
  • Ensure materials are available at job site
  • Ensure job site is cleaned daily


Basic Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 - 4 years' experience in a similar position
  • Able to use hand tools and test equipment
  • Expanded knowledge of electrical circuitry and network principles
  • Read/understand technical drawings, programming and installation guides
  • Arrive for work as directed
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with clients, management and peers. Ability to make presentations to management, clients, others as directed
  • Advanced computer skills and software knowledge to include MS Office (Excel, work, Powerpoint, Outlook) and other company software
  • Develop goals, prioritize and organize tasks to accomplish the project
  • Anticipate and resolve problem/changes; seek assistance as required
  • Function as team leader in specific area of expertise
  • Must be able to travel overnight
  • Must be available for On-Call work
  • Valid driver license and acceptable driving record


Preferred Qualifications:


  • AVIXA CTS certification
