Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Accountant to join our corporate team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for P&L and Balance Sheet accounting for assigned areas to include journal entries, account reconciliations, account analysis, and schedules
  • Research and investigate financial variances for monthly fluctuation analysis (P&L and Balance Sheet); resolve in an expeditious manner
  • Support alignment with Shared Service Accounting policies and best practices
  • Prepare business process documentation for core activities
  • Proactive self-starter; agility to work in fast-paced, acquisitive environment and adapt and lead through change
  • Analytical mindset; ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction to accomplish objectives
  • Able to immerse oneself to understand problems and propose solutions; not opposed to digging into the details
  • Excellent communication skills, intrapersonal skills to interact with and influence various levels of management and varying levels of expertise at Corporate office and acquired business units
  • Ability and desire to learn new skills
  • Experience demonstrates business acumen
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Experience meeting tight deadlines
  • Strategizes ways to identify and implement improvements towards process optimization

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 7+ experience in Accounting
  • Experience with ERP systems and other support applications is preferred
  • Experience in the application of accrual accounting for hard month-end close cut-off
  • Candidate should be comfortable dealing with complex accounting matters and competency applying US GAAP
  • Strong excel skills (formulas, vlookup, xlookup, pivot tables, etc)
