As a member of Informatica's Cloud Security Operations and Response Team, you are the first line of defense for all the people and parts that together make up Informatica's Cloud Business. You will work with world class engineers to deliver the next generation cloud platform and products, using the latest cutting edge cloud technology, such as Amazon AWS, Salesforce.com, and Microsoft Azure, to provide transformational and reliable cloud services to our customers. You have experience working at a global scale, but are agile enough to deliver results iteratively and create ongoing impact quickly.

You are an innovative security engineer with a keen eye for automation and process improvements. An engineer with passion for internal and external customer success, continuous improvement, and operational excellence at a global scale. You have a track record of implementing and automating security tools. You are comfortable managing asks, cross-functional interdependencies, performing on-time, and performing accurately. You have an uncanny ability to simplify complex situations and dependencies to find novel strategic business solutions.

Responsibilities



  • Design and implement security features and controls across our software applications and systems
  • Develop and maintain security automation tools and scripts for vulnerability scanning, security testing, and incident response
  • Participate in threat modeling sessions and security architecture reviews
  • Designing and deploying secure CICD infrastructure
  • Securing K8s infrastructure
  • Building RESTful APIs and Services.


Qualification:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 3-5 years of software development experience with a focus on security engineering
  • Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Python, Java, Go, or C++
  • Experience with application security concepts, common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10), and secure coding practices
  • Knowledge of cryptography, authentication mechanisms, and security protocols
  • Familiarity with security tools and frameworks for static/dynamic analysis
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills


Skills:



  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to code quality
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
