The Monitor Technician is responsible for the ongoing surveillance of patient cardiac monitors/remote telemetry and provides RNs and/or clinicians with immediate notification of any changes in cardiac rhythms.

REQUIRED:

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification

PREFERRED:

1. Successful completion of a basic arrhythmia course or equivalent coursework with a passing score.
2. One (1) year of experience working as a Monitor Technician
3. CRAT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician) Certification through CCI.
