We are seeking an Employment Services Specialist to join our team in Mooresville, NC. In this role, you will play a crucial part in helping individuals find meaningful employment opportunities and navigate the job market. As a member of our employment services team, you will provide expert guidance, support, and resources to job seekers while collaborating with local employers and community partners.

Job Description
  • Match job seekers with suitable employment opportunities and facilitate the application process
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, job placements, and program outcomes
  • Develop and nurture relationships with local employers to identify job opportunities and promote our services
  • Stay informed about labor market trends, job search strategies, and employment laws
  • Participate in outreach activities and job fairs to promote employment services
  • Collaborate with program staff to understand the needs and skills of participants and match them with suitable employment opportunities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with employers across various industries to create job and internship opportunities for program participants
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college or 2 years' work experience in business-to-business sales, marketing, customer service, staffing or recruiting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated strong customer service skills. Strong presentation skills with public speaking or outside sales experience
  • Familiarity with the communities being served, with knowledge and understanding of local needs and resources
  • Demonstrated knowledge of labor market trends
  • Friendly, professional demeanor
  • Ability to work well in teams and independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Valid Driver's License in good standing and proof of current automobile insurance required
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
