We are looking for capable, innovative, and enthusiastic achievers to join our team and grow with us. We are currently seeking a Materials Engineer for our site in Charleston, TN. What you will do: The Materials Engineer is responsible for selecting the best materials for specific purposes; testing materials under different conditions to assess how resistant they are, i.e. to heat, corrosion, or chemical attack; test different alloys to discover an exceptionally strong combination of metals to use in the chemical processes; developing materials selection, engineering and corrosion prevention and management standards and facilitating the use of these standards across the US Region. It also serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for the sustainability of these standards. This position will identify and drive the development and implementation of the most suitable materials of construction as well as Corrosion Management best practices in the region in collaboration with local plant engineering, operations, and maintenance counterparts.
