Description

  • Responsible for the large account customers in the probiotics division
  • Responsible for the business development with new and current customer's building Kaneka probiotics product assortment
  • Responsible for building the relationship (vertical and horizontal) throughout the customer's organization
  • Manages sales activities in sales department, including participate in daily activities of sales department to ensure they align with the company' strategic goals, training of staff, establish performance goals for sales department
  • Identify new customers and sales opportunities and initiates action plan(s) to approach and secure new business for the company
  • Develop account sales strategy options, manage call rotation and execution.
  • Responsible for monthly report defining activities for previous, current, and upcoming months
  • Responsible for maximizing both company revenue and profitability.
  • Responsible for Annual sales forecasting
  • Responsible for expansion of Probiotics colleague relationships with customer contacts at the Executive, Marketing, Technical and Purchasing functions.
  • Act as liaison with Production department, QA and Supply Chain on an as needed basis in order to address business and customer needs.
  • Manage brokers and related activities
  • Assist marketing to develop and monitor marketing programs with customers.
  • Responsible for planning and execution of tradeshows and other marketing events.
  • Support ongoing monitoring and collection of outstanding accounts receivables.
  • Research market segments and potential customers
  • This position is responsible for development / maintenance and reporting all relevant sales metrics as well as ongoing market conditions.

Qualifications
Education
Masters of Business Administration (preferred)
Bachelors of Business Administration (required)
Experience
1 - 3 years: Opening new business/accounts (required)
2 - 5 years: Contract Manufacturing industry (required)
5 - 8 years: Proven track record in opening new business & building productive account relationships with Multi-level marketing & Brands organization/channel in the dietary supplement industry. (required)
