Adtalem is seeking an experienced MuleSoft Integration Engineer to lead the implementation, maintenance, performance optimization, and capacity management of organizational software systems. This role will provide technical leadership and mentoring for software engineering teams while delivering comprehensive integration solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable solution architectures.
- Design comprehensive integration solutions leveraging MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform and complementary technologies.
- Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability between disparate systems including Banner, Salesforce, and Canvas
- Configure and customize MuleSoft Anypoint Platform components including API Manager, Anypoint Studio, and Runtime Manager
- Develop scalable and reliable integration solutions using RESTful and SOAP web services with Mule ESB
- Customize MuleSoft components and connectors to meet specific integration requirements and business logic.
- Implement robust error handling, data transformation, and security mechanisms within integration flows.
- Establish automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipeline and GitHub for streamlined build, test, and deployment processes.
- Integrate MuleSoft deployments into Azure DevOps with Environment Branching for consistent multi-environment deployment.
- Utilize Azure API Management (APIM) to expose and manage APIs with enforced security policies and analytics.
- Deploy MuleSoft applications to CloudHub with efficient configuration and resource management.
- Integrate MuleSoft applications with Banner, Salesforce, SharePoint, shared drives, and various database systems.
- Implement comprehensive data mapping, retrieval, and manipulation functionalities.
- Configure monitoring solutions using New Relic to track performance and health metrics of integration systems.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, project managers, and stakeholders.
- Manage coordination between offshore and onsite development teams.
- Document technical specifications, integration workflows, and deployment procedures for knowledge transfer.
- Coordinate with teams to provision and maintain development, testing, staging, and production environments.
- Ensure proper environment configuration and resource allocation across all deployment stages.
Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) plus years of direct experience developing MuleSoft applications and integrations.
- Proficiency in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Anypoint Studio, API Manager, and Runtime Manager.
- Strong understanding of integration design patterns and industry best practices.
- Proven experience as a technical lead with demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Experience coordinating with both offshore and onsite development teams.
- MuleSoft Certification (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Developer) required.
- Demonstrated ability to create comprehensive technical documentation including designs, specifications, and deployment procedures.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure API Management, and cloud deployment strategies
- Knowledge of RESTful and SOAP web services, API design, and data transformation technique
- Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as New Relic.
- Experience with enterprise systems integration (Banner, Salesforce, SharePoint).
Additional Information
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $84,835.61 and $149,076.17. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
