The project collaborates with UNM Latin American & Iberian Institute and UNM ECHO for Education. In this 2025 NEH Summer Institute, K-12th grade educators representing diverse contexts will use the power of storytelling to investigate the U.S.-Mexico border by interweaving multimodalities - visual, sound, and movement and with children's literature. The hours are flexible, but the student must be available for ongoing planning meetings throughout the Spring 2025 semester. Must be capable of working independently on multiple and diverse tasks. The job duties include the following: -Designing Promotional Flyers -Organizing and Attending Planning Meetings with Artists and Authors -Maintaining institute website -Maintaining participant application materials -Ordering and organizing institute materials -Organizing catering services -Communicating and organizing housing and other travel needs for participants -Assisting in-person workshop at Albuquerque Museum, February 22, 2025 -Other duties as applicable to the project Reports to Gigi Schroeder Yu, assistant professor in art education, gsyu2@unm.edu Job Title: Program Assistant, NEH Educator Summer 2025 Institute Some Flexibility Schedule Minimum Qualifications Equivalencies not found for this position Preferred Qualifications
