SUPERVISING CASE RECORDS TECHNICIAN $4,250.00 - $5,321.00 per Month Final Filing Date: Job Description and Duties
Limited term 12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent Under the direct supervision of the Correctional Case Records Supervisor, the Supervising Case Records Technician (SCRT) is a working level supervisor. The position supervises Case Records Technicians (CRT) and on occasion, other clerical staff. The SCRT must be able to perform the Records clerical duties, assess, apply and enter data in the Electronic Records Management System (ERMS), Strategic Offender Management System (SOMS) and the Board's Information Technology System (BITS). The SCRT will be responsible for the daily clerical functions of the records office, attendance of subordinates, performance evaluations, and problem resolution. Plans for and implements necessary cross coverage during vacancies and absences. Schedules and ensure staff attend annual In-Service Training, and personally attends mandatory annual classes. The SCRT will act as a liaison with State, City, County, private sector, law enforcement courts and other agencies. You will find additional information about the job in the Duty Statement. About the location - California Rehabilitation Center (CRC) is located in Norco, CA (Riverside County). The Norconian Resort is located on CRC grounds, the resort complex (formally known as Lake Norconian Club) is still largely intact after 70 years as a Naval Base and Prison, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
