Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center Purpose Statement: Inspire people to discover their God given talents and develop their potential through artistic, educational, physical, and spiritual experiences in a Christ-centered atmosphere. Job Summary/Primary Purpose: The Kroc Accountant is responsible for handling accounting entries, functions, records, reporting and use of accounting systems for the Omaha Kroc Center. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervisory Responsibilities: None Education and/or Experience: Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Training, certifications, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree from a college or university and at least 2 years' related experience in Accounting or Finance. Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position.
Other Qualifications: Must pass all applicable background checks. Must possess a valid driver's license from the state in which you reside. Must be approved through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must successfully complete Safe from Harm training as established by The Salvation Army. Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Excellent manual dexterity. Ability to stand, bend and reach for extended periods of time, dexterity of hands and fingers to operate equipment. This position will require the ability to lift and/or move 25 pounds. Working Conditions: The work environment is a community center with light to moderate traffic and noise levels. |
