Job Objective: The Utility Assistance Program Coordinator provides support and resources to families and individuals in Indiana in partnership with Center Point Energy Share the Warmth Program. The position provides emergency financial utility services, and strengths-based case management to ensure the mission of The Salvation Army is effectively carried out. What You Will Do:
Minimum Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, skills, and/or abilities required for this position. Education: Minimum of an associate degree in Human or Social Services (or related field). Background Checks: The position requires a background check to be completed. Findings may disqualify an individual for this position. Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in case management services. Certifications: Must have a valid driver's license and maintain The Salvation Army Driver's qualification standard; must complete Safe from Harm training within the first 90 days of employment; Must complete Case Worker Certification Program within 30 days of employment; Must complete Service Point SIMS data entry and/or completion of data entry procedures within 60 days of employment. Travel: Local travel will be required to attend trainings and professional development opportunities. Working Conditions: Work is performed in an office environment; May require some weekend and evening work.
