The Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Network is responsible for designing, deploying, and optimizing the organization's network infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments. This role involves managing advanced networking solutions, automation tools, and security platforms, leveraging state of the art technologies and best practices. The position focuses on ensuring seamless connectivity, high performance, and robust security in hybrid environments while driving innovation and operational excellence.

Design and Implementation:
• Design, deploy, and optimize network solutions across hybrid cloud environments, leveraging state of the art routing, switching, firewall, and load-balancing technologies.
• Create resilient, scalable network topologies that deliver exceptional performance and adaptability to meet evolving business needs.
• Network Operations and Optimization:
• Monitor and manage network performance across cloud and on-premises environments, proactively resolving bottlenecks and potential disruptions.
• Automate routine network tasks utilizing network orchestration frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between network and application layers.
• Security and Compliance:
• Implement and maintain secure configurations on network firewalls, cloud-based security components, and VPN solutions.
• Identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities within the network infrastructure.
• Troubleshooting and Resilience:
• Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Conduct root cause analyses for outages and apply corrective measures to strengthen network resilience.
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for critical network components, with an emphasis on cloud based networking and multi-cloud connectivity.
• Ensure high availability and failover readiness for load balancing solutions and dedicated private network connections within hybrid environments.
• Mentorship and Leadership:
• Mentor junior engineers and promote a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
• Guide the resolution of advanced technical challenges and provide subject matter expertise on networking technologies.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Technical Expertise:
• 6+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on hybrid cloud environments.
• Proficiency in cloud-based networking solutions, including virtual networks, hybrid connectivity, load balancing, content delivery, network security, and monitoring.
• Advanced knowledge of on-premises networking, including routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
• Deep expertise in firewall platforms and their configuration for securing network infrastructure.
• Advanced skills in load balancing and application delivery solutions, including traffic management and access control tools.
• Automation and Tools:
• Experience with network automation tools like Ansible or Terraform.
• Familiarity with monitoring and performance analysis tools for network infrastructure.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
• Leadership experience, including mentoring and guiding team members.
