Job Description

The Omni Nashville Hotel is seeking to fill Dining Room Attendant/Host positions for the period of February 1, 2025, to November 1, 2025.



Responsibilities

    Greet and seat guests, prepare clean tables, and provide menus.
  • Support servers, deliver food and beverages to tables, monitor dining room seating, and assist in a coffee shop setting as needed.
  • Clear, disinfect tables, and ensure the workspace remains free from water, debris, or obstructions.
  • Set up and break down buffet stations, secure serving items, and adhere to the manager's directives.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and use tools and equipment per on-the-job training provided by the employer.
  • Assist with guest inquiries and concerns.
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment with a sense of urgency throughout entire shift.
  • Able to perform other job duties as assigned by Managers and Supervisors.
  • Availability for up to 40 hours per week from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM.


Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • 3 months of Food & Beverage customer service
  • State-issued Food Handler's Certification
  • Must be fluent in English

Physical Job Requirements (for essential functions only)

  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Requires repetitive motion.
  • Able to lift and carry 25lbs routinely and up to 50lbs occasionally
  • Able to bend, walk, sit, stand, squat, and lean in the course of daily business for extended periods of time
