Purpose

The Social Media Specialist will manage our brand's social media channels in collaboration with the Digital Media and Marketing Strategist to create a content ecosystem that looks to inform and inspire our audience. This role requires someone who can create and share content, build an audience, and maintain a brand's reputation.

Responsibilities
  • Execute multi-platform social media strategies that align with product launches, seasonal moments, and brand storytelling. Monitor social media accounts to ensure brand consistency and respond to comments. Develop and update social media strategies to stay current with trends and projections. Plan strategic asset placements across social channels with a deep understanding of each platform's role. Write thoughtful, on-brand social copy tailored to specific platforms and campaigns.

  • Collaborate with and manage content calendars, ensuring all posts are aligned with overall marketing objectives and scheduled effectively. Execute both organic and paid social campaigns with attention to detail and platform trends. Perform social listening to understand trends in the community and other brands Use social listening tools to identify trends, user-generated content, and real-time engagement opportunities.

Required Qualifications

High school grad or GED. 1-2 years of experience in social media strategy, content creation, or marketing. Hands-on experience with Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other emerging platforms. Proven ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners to produce engaging content. Strong writing skills with the ability to create engaging, platform-specific copy. Analytical mindset with experience using reporting tools to track performance and derive insights. Ability to balance creativity with data-driven thinking and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in tracking tools like Google Analytics, Sprout Social, etc. Experience in editing software like Adobe Premier Pro Experience in Adobe Creative Suite.

Hourly Rate

$20.00

  • The work schedule is from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
