A week in the life of a Navy Qualified Validator II:

• Prepare, implement, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policy, to include Assessment and Authorization requirements.
• Plan, implement, upgrade, and/or monitor cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber-resilient network.
• Assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure.
• Respond to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports.
  
  

• Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
• Bachelors' in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Mathematics degree
• 3 years of experience in: Cybersecurity, Risk Management Framework (RMF) Authority To Operate (ATO) and security assessments
• Cloud Experience: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, Google Platform (GCP) and Microsoft
• IAT Level II (CAP, CASP+CE,CISM, CISSP,GSLC, CCISO, HCISSP)
• Current Navy approved Navy Qualified Validator
